Location: Mossville, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of an aftermarket In-Cab AI Assistant platform for heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, QA, architecture, and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery of AI-powered, connected-device solutions. This role requires strong program management expertise, technical understanding of embedded and software systems, and the ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end program planning, execution tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
Manage scope, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decision logs.
Drive delivery across compute platforms, voice/audio systems, displays, machine integration, OTA updates, diagnostics, and connected-device capabilities.
Facilitate weekly status reviews, executive reporting, and issue escalation.
Partner with architects, technical leads, and engineering teams to align technical decisions with program objectives.
Track delivery artifacts, testing evidence, release readiness, and production milestones.
Support backlog planning, prioritization, and execution for MVP and production releases.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to remove blockers and ensure on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
5+ years of Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering Program Management experience.
Proven experience managing cross-functional software, embedded systems, or connected-device programs.
Strong expertise in program planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with embedded systems, automotive, industrial, robotics, IoT, or heavy-equipment products.
Familiarity with AI-enabled products, voice assistants, HMI systems, OTA updates, diagnostics, and device management.
Experience managing hardware/software integration projects and external suppliers.
PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
