Job Summary: Performs basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures. The individual will have a mentor identified for resource and support. Other duties as assigned.

Experience Description: Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) is preferred. Inventory/stocking experience is preferred.

Education Description: Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program is required. Student will remain in good standing. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Training Description: Equipment processing and cleaning training, preferred.

Special Skills Description: Organization/Time management. Good communication skills.

Licensure Description: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
