Relationship Manager - VP or SVP level

Salary range: An annual salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future, to be considered. Responsibilities Originating and growing new client relationships, proactively sourcing and closing banking relationships with venture-backed life science and healthcare companies through a disciplined pipeline strategy and sponsor network. Serving as a trusted advisor to portfolio clients, acting as the primary relationship point of contact, delivering tailored financial solutions and partnering across treasury products to meet evolving client needs. Driving ecosystem engagement and deal sourcing; building presence with VC and PE sponsors, incubators, and industry associations to generate referrals and representing the firm at key sector conferences and events. Structuring and supporting credit opportunities, collaborating with credit officers to structure and present venture lending solutions, monitoring portfolio health, and proactively managing covenant compliance and risk. Providing sector expertise and thought leadership; staying current on life science and healthcare funding trends, sharing market intelligence with clients and internal teams, and helping develop junior talent. Qualifications The VP level requires a minimum of at least 5-7 years venture banking or related experience, and the SVP level requires a minimum of 8-10 years venture banking or related experience. Technology Skills Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank’s applications. Familiarity with AI & Automation tools.
