Whether assisting with activities of daily living, supporting wellness initiatives, helping with medication administration (where licensed), working in Luminations® (memory care), or simply being a trusted companion, you'll make a meaningful difference every day.In this role, you will:Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toiletingSupport residents in accordance with their personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-beingObserve residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing teamProvide medication assistance and administration in accordance with state regulations and community policies when appropriately licensed and assignedBuild meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphereParticipate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special eventsWork collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experienceEnsure exceptional documentation is submitted for all services provided or declinedWe're looking for individuals who are passionate about service, hospitality, and senior care. Preferred qualifications include:High School Diploma or GED, requiredOne or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living, highly preferredOne or more years of experience working with seniors, preferredCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) credentials, preferred or required as applicable by state and assignmentExperience with caring for seniors will be considered in lieu of licensureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive attitude and genuine desire to enhance the lives of othersAbility to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team membersAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shiftAbility to lift or carry up to 50 poundsAt Grand Living, you'll be part of a team that is passionate about creating remarkable experiences for residents, families, and one another.
