Help Wanted: Automotive Technician

Location: Thornton Chevrolet, 180 S. Main St., Manchester, PA.

Position Type: Full-time.

About Us: At Thornton Chevrolet, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch automotive service and customer satisfaction. We're a busy shop with a strong reputation in the community, and we're looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic tests and repair vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and updates to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

Valid automotive technician certification (ASE or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
