Site Surveyor

You’ll be the eyes of the engineering team , visiting homes, assessing conditions, and ensuring each solar installation is set up for success from day one. What you’ll be doing Conduct on-site surveys for residential solar projects Capture photos of roofs, surroundings, and electrical panels Evaluate roof condition (materials, structure, viability) Inspect electrical panels and identify system readiness Take accurate measurements (roof size, angles, mounting space) Identify potential risks or installation challenges Document findings and share clear reports with engineering Occasionally support service-related visits 5+ years of experience in solar, roofing, construction, or field work Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems Understanding of roof structures and solar installations Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments Ability to work independently and manage your day Measuring tape Roofing tools (e.g., pry bars) What to expect Travel within a ~2-hour radius Must have a vehicle capable of transporting a ladder Work both on rooftops and ground-level inspections Good to know This is a field-based role (not office-based) You’ll play a critical role in identifying issues before installation You won’t make final engineering decisions—but your input is key What makes you stand out You notice what others miss You’re comfortable making calls in the field You take ownership and communicate clearly #J-18808-Ljbffr
