Job Details:

• Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adhering to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.
• All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of the facility and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety, and inter-disciplinary cooperation.
• Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ARRT (Therapy) & BLS (AHA). Education: Not specified. Location: Petoskey, Michigan. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience or 1 year travel experience with Varian and ARIA, or post-graduation work experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Submission requirements: Candidate must have 2 or more years of radiation therapy experience and possess ARRT (T) certification.
