HISTORY Founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2022 with the eight-event LIV Golf Invitational Series, 2025 was our third 14-event season as the LIV Golf League. The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; four days, 72 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous Team and Individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. Role objective / The team The Communications Intern will support the Communications department across day-to-day tasks, event preparation, media operations, and content development. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in sports communications, media relations, and event operations within a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities Assist in preparing materials for meetings, including spreadsheets, presentations, and briefing documents. Help draft content such as press releases, email updates, and marketing copy. Support the development and execution of communications strategies. Compile earned-media reports summarizing coverage of LIV Golf events. Conduct outreach to media outlets, influencers, and partners to support brand visibility. Assist with special projects as assigned. Qualifications / Required skills Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with media list tools (MailChimp, Cision, etc.) is a plus. Interest in sports communications; golf knowledge is a bonus. Flexibility to work across time zones if needed. Proficiency in AI tools like Gemini.
