About the Role

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC General Anesthesiologist to join the growing team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida—less than one hour north of Tampa. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a collaborative practice with a diverse case mix, strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to teach and mentor residents within an established academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Academic affiliation with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine
• Opportunity to teach and mentor residents in an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
• Established ACT model with 12 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs
• Supervision model of 1:4 with APPs and 1:2 with residents
• Diverse case mix including General, Orthopedics, Thoracic, Vascular, OB, GI, Endoscopy, and Cardiac (dedicated cardiac team)
• No Trauma and No Pediatrics
• Monday-Friday schedule with post-call day off
• Collaborative culture that values teamwork, communication, and physician engagement
• Additional compensation for residency program participation
• 10 weeks PTO

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license
• Interest in teaching and resident education welcomed

Pay range and compensation package
