Job Title: Unit manager-LPN/RN

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE

Position Type: Full-time, day shift (Monday-Friday, 1 weekend per month on-call)

Location: The Grove at Kirkwood

Job Summary:

The unit Manager is responsible for over seeing the day to day operations of a designated unit, ensuring high quality patientcare, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a licensed LPN or RN with Strong leadership, clinical and communication skills. The unit Manager serves as a resource for staff, residents and families and supports the nursing team in delivering safe, effective and person-centered care.

Key Responsibility:

*Supervise and support nursing staff

*Ensure all patients/resident care is delivered according to facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

*Participate in clinical care as needed, including assessments medication administration, and care planning.

*Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

*Conduct regular unit rounds to monitor quality of care, infection control, and safety practices.

*Serve as the point of contact for families, addressing questions, concerns and updates.

*Supports compliance with documentation, reporting and regulatory requirements.

*Respond to nursing emergencies and provide guidance to staff.

*Be available for on-call coverages as scheduled ( approximately one weekend a month)

Qualification:

*Current and active LPN-RN License

*Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience: previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

*Strong knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and regularly requirements

*Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

*Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a nursing team.

Working Conditions:

*Day shift, Monday-Friday, with on-call weekend per month.

*Fast-paced clinical environment requiring frequent walking, standing and patient care duties.
