Entry Level Phlebotomist

Job Description At BioLife, we offer flexible part‑time opportunities for our Plasma Donation Center. Shifts typically last 4‑6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. We confirm availability, shift days and times early in the interview process. Provide advance notice of schedule changes. Reliability during scheduled hours is essential. Every day, donors motivate you and the high‑quality plasma collected will become life‑changing medicines. This role requires a commitment to customer service and quality. The Plasma Center Manager will supervise you. You will serve as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations. How You Will Contribute Answer phones, greet donors, ensure safety. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain records, coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk/stand whole shift. Will work evenings, weekends, holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees. Lifting up to 5 lbs routinely; occasional ups to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, ability to hear equipment from a distance. Acceptance of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% tasks require prolonged glove wear. 1+ year experience in customer or patient‑facing role helpful. What Takeda Can Offer Compensation starts at $16.00 per hour.
