We are seeking an Electrical Helper to support electricians and lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems. No prior electrical experience is required. This role is designed for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and interested in building a career in the electrical trade. Training and supervision will be provided.

Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily outdoors and on active industrial construction sites in varying weather, terrain, and field conditions. The position requires sustained physical activity, including standing, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching at and above shoulder level, grasping and handling materials or tools, and pushing or pulling. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. and work safely around construction equipment, electrical components, elevated work areas, and other job site hazards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and lead technicians with daily electrical installation tasks.
• Learn to install conduit, cable trays, industrial wiring systems, and underground duct bank conduit systems.
• Help pull, route, label, and secure electrical cables.
• Support the installation of motors, control panels, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment
• Learn to use, inspect, and care for hand tools and power tools.
• Follow verbal instructions, basic drawings, and work-area layouts under supervision.
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA requirements, site-specific rules, and Morgan Corp. safety procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and ask questions when instructions or conditions are unclear.
• Assist with basic testing and troubleshooting under direct supervision.
• Assist with installing and supporting conduit systems, including underground duct bank installations.
• Help pull, route, label, and secure electrical wire and cable.
• Support qualified electricians performing work on industrial electrical systems operating up to 480 volts.
• Learn the tools, materials, terminology, and safety procedures associated with conduit installation, duct banks, wire pulls, and 480-volt systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the crew and project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to construction, industrial work, mechanical work, or skilled trades
• Familiarity with basic hand tools or power tools
• Interest in completing electrical training, certifications, or an apprenticeship
