Maintenance Technician

Pay: $45.43

The opportunity:

Electrical Maintenance Technician: Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics, steam systems and pneumatics and have troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.

What you need to succeed:

\u2022 Trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level

\u2022 An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes: motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems.

\u2022 A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

\u2022 Familiar with steam generating systems and safety compliance

\u2022 Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives

\u2022 PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.

\u2022 Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.

\u2022 Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings.

\u2022 Basic welding skills preferred but not required.

\u2022 Familiar with pumps, both air and electric.

\u2022 Able to install and trouble shoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits

\u2022 Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches

\u2022 Familiar with computers and Microsoft software.

\u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills.

\u2022 Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.

\u2022 Ability to work flexible hours, overtime

\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent Military training and or Technical School preferred

The starting rate is $45.43 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation, and 9 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
