Position: Impact Manager Number of Positions: 1 | Work Location: 100% On‑Site Overview Impact Manager leads and develops a team of up to 20 AmeriCorps members as emerging leaders who strengthen schools and support students. Reporting to an Impact Director, the role implements City Year’s Whole School Whole Child (WSWC) service model and supports AmeriCorps members throughout their year of service. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of up to 20 AmeriCorps members, setting vision and expectations, coaching and guiding them through weekly or bi‑weekly one‑on‑one and team meetings, and conducting mid‑year and end‑of‑year reviews. Conduct ongoing performance management: oversee completion of required timesheets and reports, ensure compliance with AmeriCorps provisions, and drive measurable monthly and weekly service deliverables. Develop and monitor training and development tracks, including leadership coaching and the creation of a Leadership After City Year (LACY) plan. Deliver City Year’s WSWC intervention programs (Tier1 and Tier2), including content, academic support, afterschool programming, school climate initiatives, and whole‑school attendance and behavior efforts. Maintain data collection and database systems; produce timely progress reports for AmeriCorps, City Year national office, and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Act as the frontline conduit for messaging between AmeriCorps members, school faculty and staff, and community stakeholders by communicating program outcomes, dropout data, and strategic service focus. Build and sustain relationships with school partners (principals, administrators, teachers) and community stakeholders, coordinating regular meetings, strategic initiatives, and event participation. Support senior AmeriCorps members by setting expectations, managing performance systems, and mentoring talent development. Devote up to eight days per year to recruitment interviews and support team participation in all school‑wide and national events.
