Dental Assistant

Duties
Assist dentist in providing complex treatments to patients, utilizing stand-up or four handed sit-down dentistry.
Prepare patient for surgery by sanitizing patient's face, draping patient, and obtaining vital signs and medical history.
Set up instruments, equipment, and materials such as syringes, aesthesia IVs, and restoration/impression materials.
Perform dental radiographic work to include taking radiographs, developing film, and maintaining radiographic equipment.
Maintain dental equipment and inventory in clean and operative condition.
