Deployment Support Technician III, Cloud Supply Chain Services Location options: Pryor, OK; Austell, GA; Papillion, NE; Omaha, NE; New Albany, OH; Midlothian, TX; Fort Wayne, IN; Reston, VA; Las Vegas, NV; Lenoir, NC; Moncks Corner, SC; Reno, NV. This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship. Responsibilities Experience with performing component‑level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment. Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware. Experience with networking protocols. Ability to travel up to 70% of the time. Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and exert physically over extended periods, including bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting. Must have the ability to work non‑standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays, and shift‑based schedules as required. Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across teams. Report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with equipment or infrastructure as they arise. Maintain security and integrity of data, tracking media for non‑standard data security issues. Disassemble equipment that has reached end‑of‑life via part replacement or maintenance. Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems. Experience with performing component‑level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment or a similar role. Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment. Experience with Linux operating systems. Experience in project management and leadership, collaborating with teams. Compensation and Benefits US: $95,000 - $135,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits. Additional Information The Hardware Operations team monitors the state‑of‑the‑art physical infrastructure behind Google’s search technology. As an Operations Technician, you will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and server software, and handle more complex network component configuration.
