This role ensures all equipment is properly lubricated, fluids are maintained at correct levels, and maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently to support operational reliability and minimize downtime. **Essential Responsibilities and Duties:** * Perform routine oil changes, lubrication services, and fluid checks on vehicles and equipment. * Inspect equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or mechanical issues and report findings to supervisors. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and maintenance schedules. * Ensure proper disposal of used oils, filters, and fluids in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and tools. * Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan. * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times. * Support mechanics and maintenance personnel as needed. * Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. * Communicate equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly to management. |## Qualifications| || --- || **Qualifications and Education Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous experience as a preventative maintenance technician, mechanic helper, or similar role preferred. * Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment lubrication systems and fluid types. * Ability to follow maintenance schedules and safety procedures. * Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a shop or outdoor environment. **Work Environment:** * This role is primarily performed in a shop and outdoor environment and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, grease, oils, and mechanical equipment. * This is a full-time position with working hours scheduled during various shifts. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * While executing job responsibilities, the employee will be required to engage regularly in standing, walking, sitting, manual manipulation of objects, tools, or controls, reaching, climbing stairs, and verbal communication. * The employee will also be expected to have the ability to climb ladders, work from an elevated location, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
