Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to set and achieve client-focused goals, ensuring holistic care delivery. \n
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with clients possessing diverse cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and needs. \n
- Provide therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of clients experiencing major mental illness or severe emotional disorders. \n
- Conduct thorough client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans and track ongoing progress. \n
- Facilitate crisis intervention sessions as necessary, providing immediate support and resolution for clients in distress. \n
- Maintain a manageable caseload by effectively documenting sessions, ensuring compliance with clinical and legal standards. \n
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and enhance treatment strategies. \n
You will work directly with a diverse population of clients who may be experiencing symptoms related to various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, family conflict, and other significant emotional difficulties. Your expertise in family dynamics and therapy will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their struggles and achieve improved mental health outcomes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling, as required. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. \n
- Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. \n
- Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment practices including evidence-based methods. \n
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear, compassionate engagement with clients and colleagues. \n
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities, with a keen ability to balance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. \n
Experience in trauma-informed care, crisis management, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches will be advantageous. Familiarity with community resources and referral processes will also enhance your ability to support clients effectively. A commitment to continuous professional development is highly valued.
