This is a client-facing role suited for an early-career professional looking to build expertise at the intersection of life sciences and capital markets. Position Overview The Analyst, IR will support Relationship Managers in the LifeSci Advisor Investor Relations business to maintain and manage current client accounts and is an instrumental member of LifeSci ’s international multi-disciplinary service team. The incumbent will work alongside the Relationship Manager to coordinate and execute our clients' IR strategy. The role requires a proactive team player with strong social, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as the ability to solve problems quickly. An ideal candidate can liaise directly with the client’s C-suite and work to serve their investor relations needs Key Responsibilities Prepare agendas for weekly/bi-weekly client calls and identify action items for the LifeSci team (and the Client) Prepare client deliverables, including shareholder reports, short interest reports, and research readership reports Keep track of upcoming client events and investor outreach activities, and anticipate what deliverables or action items are necessary Plan and prepare client events and investor outreach activities, including coordinating client and team calendars Track news and activity of clients’ competitors to help provide proactive intelligence to clients Collect and analyze sell-side estimates and maintain consensus model Monitor and compile peer group research; following industry, competitor and customer developments and news flow, including earnings calls and analyst days - communicating key takeaways to management teams Participate in client meetings and calls Occasional travel to meet clients in their headquarters and/or at investor conferences is required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, finance, communications, or related field 0-4 years of experience in life sciences, banking or financial services is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight timelines High sense of professionalism and customer service mindset Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel What We Offer Comprehensive low-cost medical, vision, and dental healthcare benefits Generous, flexible, PTO policy 401(k) plan with Roth and IRA options Paid Parental Leave Commuter benefits, wellness reimbursement & additional EOP offerings $75,000 - $75,000 a year Base Salary Listed + Annual Discretionary Performance Bonus LifeSci Partners is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
