The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about anything hospitality, people, talent development, and team-building. They demonstrate the ability to stay calm under pressure and have excellent people skills, a desire to provide highly personalized services, a critical eye for detail, and have high expectations and standards.

Regular overnight shifts are expected for this role. 

Primary Responsibilities

The ‘Quin Ambassador supports the direction and administration of Front Office, Rooms Reservations and Housekeeping departments. The ‘Quin Ambassador is responsible for representing The ‘Quin brand, supporting the department in achieving the operational and financial goals, maintaining the facilities in accordance with The ‘Quin standards, and ensuring high member and guest satisfaction. 

ESSENTIAL JOB ELEMENTS

• Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines forThe‘QuinHouse
• Maintainroomsinventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and ratemanagement
• Champion initiativesto increasemembersatisfaction
• Ensure accurate check in and check out 
• Solve basic folio and billing discrepancies
• Run daily systems audit as needed
• Maintain composure under pressure and thrive in a fast paced work environment
• Collaborate with theassignmentsof housekeeping staff
• Address, communicate, and resolve allmembercomplaints
• Report any maintenance repairs to maintenancestaff,record repair information in maintenance log
• Completefollow-up on vacant or occupied roomrequests
• Assumefunctions of other Club rolesas necessary
• Handleallmemberinteractions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism – accommodating special requests whenever possible; assisting membersin all inquiries in connection withThe Clubservices, hours of operations, in-house events, directions, etc. 
• Ensure items checked in through coat check are accurately logged and handled with care.
• Check in every member and guest that enters the building. Communicating our policies and procedures for a smooth welcome experience.
• Stay knowledgeable of all dining reservations and events happening in the club daily and for the week.
• Respond to all incoming emails promptly and professionally
• Take all phone calls, acting on any requests and relaying any information taken for other departments.
• Communicatein a clear and timely manner with all departments.
• Report to work well groomed and maintain a professional appearance, following The‘QuinHousestandards
• Respond to allmemberrequestsand inquiriesin an accurate and timely manner
• Establishclose relationships with vendorsthroughout the city to provide a unique, personalized member experience
• Assume 100% responsibility for the quality ofservices provided
• Assume additionaltasksassigned to you by your direct supervisor or any manager of The‘ Quinthatarereasonable requests

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and frequently ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

• Startup/opening ofhotelsexperience preferred
• Service oriented with professional presentations skills
• Proven ability as a leader in a team environment, embracesownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
• Excellentoral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, excellent prioritization, time management, organizational and follow up skills
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation 
• Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
• Strong computer skills and proficiencywithMicrosoft Office Suite 
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal English skills, additional languages area plus
