Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Hematology Oncology North Conway, NH Conway, NH Specialty : Hematology Oncology State : NH Location : 3073 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, NH Requirements : MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is looking for 1 Locum Hematology Oncology PA. SUMMARY OF WORK : Care of general hematology/oncology patients with support from a physician and an additional APP. No evening or weekend call required. Must be comfortable with both hematology and oncology care with subspecialty support available within the network. RESPONSIBILITIES : Responding to questions from care team members; answering patient-related inquiries; ordering and following up on labs/imaging; maintaining up-to-date medical records; signing chemotherapy orders. Willingness to complete the APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course (approx. 25 hours if not previously completed) with time and course paid. CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS : No procedures required. Must be comfortable caring for hematology and oncology patients. SCHEDULE : 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 4 days a week (no weekend coverage, no call coverage). ABOUT THE SITE : One physician and one other APP in a close‑knit, passionate practice located in a beautiful area. Length of contract: 6 months. Start date: As soon as possible. CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS : Board certified. NP or PA acute care certification not required. Prior hematology/oncology experience and comfort signing chemotherapy orders required. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Flight – no first‑class flights. Hotel – $200/night lodging cap after taxes and fees. Rental car – standard rental car (no premium/SUV). Mileage billed at the IRS standard rate.
