Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Floater

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its Metairie, Louisiana location to prepare specimens, manage data entry, and troubleshoot laboratory issues. The role involves Monday-Friday schedules with potential evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
Scrub requisitions to ensure sample preparation and completeness
Communicate with client office staff and meet departmental production goals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
Minimum one year of clinical laboratory experience
High-volume laboratory environment experience
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Pass standardized color blindness test
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
