Overview
Lee Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician. The right candidate will be board-certified in Emergency Medicine, with the ability to obtain an active, unrestricted Florida license and DEA.
Positions available: part-time to full-time.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care across the Emergency Departments at HealthPark Medical Center, Gulf Coast Medical Center, Lee Memorial Hospital, and a free-standing Emergency Department at Coconut Point.
- Rotate between locations based on schedule and staffing needs; be proficient in all aspects of Emergency Medicine, including standard procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splinting.
- Perform high-acuity procedures as needed, including intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, running cardiac/respiratory arrest codes, and managing trauma alerts as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (active).
- Active Florida medical license with ability to obtain an unrestricted license and DEA registration.
- Ability to work across multiple ED locations with flexible scheduling (part-time to full-time).
