Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, scheduled hours 40. Start date: 06/29/2026, end date: 09/28/2026, duration: 13 weeks.

Description: 5+ years experience required. They will be working without supervision on this shift. Required certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA.

Skills: Acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation, ear/nose/throat, general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastics, urology, biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), chemical agents for decontamination, disinfectants, manual cleaning, proper labeling, ultrasonic cleaner, aseptic technique, organizing trays, placing instruments on trays, preference cards, proper labeling, endoscopes, scope/probe reprocessing, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, endoscopic ultrasound scopes (EUS), enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes, bariatrics, endoscopy, laparoscopic, neurology, podiatry, robotics, steris testing/monitoring, sterrad testing/monitoring, sterile processing microsystem (SPM), vascular, dental, ortho/total joints, automated endoscope reprocessors (AER), TEE probes, uteroscopes, cystoscopes, loaner consignment trays, loaner trays, implants, trauma unit details.

Special requirements: RTO only one holiday will be approved. Requires specific amount of experience - 2 years required for submission. Must be available to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Valid state license (required at time of submission). 50 miles travel requirement; locals accepted at local rate.

Background policy to be noted prior to submission. Please state if they have any BG hits or DUIs. They just need to know prior to submission. Return staff policy - gone 1 year to return as traveler. Floating: travelers may float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit. Work history verification: 7-year work history verification required for all candidates. Candidates must provide accurate work history information going back 7 years from their start date and may also be required to provide documentation or contacts for the verifications if we are unable to verify any positions. Modules: modules are non-billable, average 1-5 hours spent on modules and are factored in NBO. Any time spent on modules exceeding the 16 NBO hours are billable. Modules are completed during orientation, and module hours vary by specialty. Modules are recorded through e-learning.
