Overview Registered Radiologic Technologist role at Cleveland Clinic . This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000*. The caregiver works nights from 7:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. with on-call requirements. Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is a Magnet Hospital awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. You will work with a dedicated team of caregivers, receive support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career. Responsibilities Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Maintain documentation. Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator. Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing. Minimum qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred qualifications One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist. Physical Requirements Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily. Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
