Clinical Pharmacist I

The Clinical Pharmacist I will perform essential functions to ensure safe and effective medication management. These responsibilities include:

• Preparing and dispensing drug orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Interpreting and verifying drug orders into computerized patient medication records accurately.
• Compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, including non-sterile and sterile products.
• Issuing controlled substances while maintaining accurate records as required by law.
• Ensuring timely and efficient pharmacy services.
• Maintaining professional competency and required licensure, attending staff meetings regularly.
• Supervising pharmacy support personnel and verifying the activities of pharmacy technicians.
• Providing ambulatory pharmaceutical care services, including patient education and managing drug therapies.

The position requires varying shifts, which may occur from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Additionally, there is a requirement for every other weekend with two 10-hour shifts.

The dress code includes pewter scrubs.
