Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 3x12 Hours | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours/Week
Pay: $30 - $35/hr
Schedule: Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct and indirect patient care across ED, Med-Surg, and Pediatric settings while supporting patient safety, comfort, and quality of care.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, as required by facility.

• CNA certification required.

• Active CNA certification must be maintained.

• Acute Care experience preferred.

• ED, Med-Surg, or Pediatric experience beneficial.

• Strong patient-care and safety awareness.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Assist patients with toileting, bathing, feeding, and other ADLs.

• Provide direct and indirect patient care according to assignments.

• Serve as a safety companion for patients identified as safety risks.

• Observe and report changes in patient needs.

• Obtain, record, exchange, and communicate patient information.

• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient-care environment.

• Support quality improvement activities.

• Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development for pediatric patients.

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, families, and staff.

• Follow ethical principles and organizational standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development.

Schedule Details

• ED & Med-Surg: 6 × 12-hour shifts over 2 weeks.

• Peds Float Pool: 4 × 8-hour shifts + 4 × 12-hour shifts over 2
