Respiratory Therapist - ICU/NICU

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Days, 06:00 - 18:00

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonates through adults. The RT will work in the ICU and NICU departments, responding to codes and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Participate in code response and assist in emergency situations.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Knowledge of respiratory equipment and EHR systems.
