Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Our Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS) Communications Department is looking for a Systems Engineer to help develop and maintain communication applications programs.This is an onsite position in Melbourne, Florida.What You Will Do:Specific responsibilities of this position span all phases of system product development including system requirements analysis, definition, allocation, system architecture design, verification and validationSystem integration and requirements verification testingSystem modeling and simulation; coordination among systems, hardware, and software design functions; and developing systems related documentation. Senior engineers will be available to provide mentoring to develop your skills as a system engineer and to increase your depth of knowledge in communication technologies.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related fieldAerospace industry experience is requiredExperience with Python, Perl or other script writing toolsSystem level requirements decomposition/analysis, system design and allocation to subsystems/products System integration planning and execution, and system level verification and validation. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
