Staff Accountant

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:Prepare daily bank reconciliationsPrepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliationsKey contributor to month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare financial statements and internal reportsAnalyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trendsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulationsSupport audits by providing necessary documentation and explanationsMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsCollaborate with other departments to gather financial informationRespond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from managementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldTwo plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of GAAPStrong technical proficiency in ERP systems (Infor XA, or similar preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting toolsExcellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detailEffective communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
