About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required; Pediatric CVOR preferred License: State RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: CVOR experience; Pediatric experience preferred Description: Pediatric CVOR 3X12S DAYS 0630-1900. CVOR experience required; Pediatric CVOR preferred for all pediatric cardiac cases. Two years minimum experience required. Accepts first-time travelers. Call requirement: 1-2 weekends per month. Expected to take care of general OR patients as well. Floating to main OR is required. Congenital hearts and other cardiac surgeries will be performed. All travelers must be agreeable to call and weekend requirements. Max of 10 days RTO, none within the first week of the assignment. Candidates must possess a valid state RN license. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates living within 50 miles are considered local. Two references required from a supervisor level or above in the unit they are substituting for and within one year of starting or from their most recent employer. Travelers must have been separated for one year before applying for travel positions. Eligibility for rehire for any traveler previously canceled must be reviewed. Candidates should refer to the job description for exact float requirements. Modules may be required and must be completed during the contract.
