Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $27.00 per hour

What's a typical day as a Buyer / Purchasing Specialist? You'll be:

• Preparing and submitting purchase orders (POs) based on inventory needs, lead times, and backorders to drive timely fulfillment
• Maintaining accurate facility inventory levels and vendor data (costs, sources, lead times, codes) in ERP systems (Solomon, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP)
• Managing vendor relationships, negotiating rates, and identifying alternative sourcing options
• Tracking inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring on-time deliveries, and proactively following up on past-due shipments
• Coordinating day-to-day purchasing activities, including stockout prevention, usage tools, invoicing, debit memos, product returns, and inventory audits
• Participating in continuous improvement by developing usage review tools and optimizing reorder points and order quantities

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 2–3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory control
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Bring strong working knowledge of purchasing and inventory best practices
• Have experience with ERP/purchasing software such as Microsoft Dynamics, Solomon, or SAP
• Are proficient with MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
• Possess strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and organizational capabilities
• Are comfortable working 100% onsite in a warehouse/manufacturing setting and able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
