Bus Drivers

To transport students safely, efficiently and economically to and from school on a daily basis and to extracurricular events on a non-regular basis.

If not licensed will need the ability to take and pass training to obtain a class B CDL with P and S endorsements Operate a school bus routinely in a safe and efficient manner. Interact with students and administrators in a professional setting. Ability to operate radio communication devices when necessary. Must be able to submit two references attesting to the applicant's ability, character and personal qualifications.

Successfully complete the National Red Cross first aid course. Meet DOT physical exam requirements annually as well as all other DOT required tests prior to licensure.

High School Degree or GED preferred but not required Class B CDL with P and S Endorsements preferred but not required for application. PCPS will provide free training to obtain full licensure. Bus driving experience preferred but not required. Hourly, 2024-2025 Bus Driver Scale No benefits
