AHS Colorguard Instructor

Job Description AHS Colorguard Instructor: Responsible for teaching and developing the marching band’s color guard program by instructing students in flag, rifle, dance, and movement techniques. The instructor designs and teaches choreography, rehearses performances, promotes proper technique and safety, and works closely with the band director to coordinate routines for the marching band’s halftime show. Rehearsals Morning rehearsals before school: 7:00 am–7:45 am. Full group marching band rehearsal: 7:55 am–8:50 am during the school day. Performances Fall semester: 2–3 football games, 1–2 parades, and other school‑day performances upon request.
