Front Desk Assistant

Vivo HealthStaff is seeking a Front Desk Assistant to work at an Urgent Care facility across the San Francisco Bay Area. The Front Desk position is a full-time opportunity 40 hours per week with benefits provided.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Welcome all patients and visitors by greeting them in person, answer inquiries and direct them through the registration process.
• Answer phones, filing, faxing, scanning documentation and completing daily patient callbacks.
• Assist clinical staff with documentation or scheduling of patients.
• Collect all patient information, verify patient demographics, process payments, post patient balances and complete phone sheets.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records
• Good customer service skills
• Prior experience or interested to work in a medical office setting
• Friendly and eager to learn
