Location: Edmond, Oklahoma. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office and two days remote each week. This is not a fully remote role.

Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of directly relevant public accounting tax experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. An active CPA license or demonstrated progress toward obtaining the CPA is expected.

Job Description

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and tax provisions.
• Work directly with clients on corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters.
• Research tax issues and help develop practical, effective tax strategies.
• Communicate with federal, state, and local tax authorities to resolve client tax matters.
• Participate in client meetings and develop trusted professional relationships.
• Review work and provide guidance, training, and leadership to Tax Staff.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong client service.
• Collaborate closely with partners and other professionals across the firm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA license or actively working toward CPA licensure.
• Experience preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns.
• Strong tax research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong technology skills; CCH Axcess experience is a plus.
