Drop Count Team Member

Drop/Count Member ISLAND VIEW CASINO'S Drop/Count Member safeguards the assets of the casino by removing, exchanging, collecting and accurately counting cash boxes from slot machines, table games, sportsbook, and kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations. Key responsibilities include opening, removing, and securing currency from slot machines and table games, removing cash boxes from gaming machine bases and replacing empty boxes. The member transports cash boxes to the cart and places them on properly labeled shelves, transports drop boxes to the count room, ensures that all cash boxes are removed from carts, verifies, proofs, straps, and bricks all monies with the required information on the straps, and accurately counts slot machine currency drops and tickets. Position Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to handle cash, lift 35 pounds, and push heavy objects for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit. Knowledge of computer, G&D C4 and M5, calculators, and JCM docking station.
