Senior Personal Banker

Major Duties Understanding the business model and engaging appropriate business unit subject matter experts to explore potential opportunities with the client; providing maintenance and holistic advice on assigned relationships through cross‑selling and identifying client needs. Executing and/or submitting client account servicing activities within appropriate time frames, including processing of wires and fund transfers, opening and closing accounts, maintaining accurate records, imaging documents, and researching client issues. Proactively communicating with relationship management and NCSS teams to obtain necessary information to properly execute requested activities. Handling paying and receiving activities, including cash transactions and daily balancing; fully understanding and adhering to all WM Lobby Banking Operations policies and procedures as documented on the WM Intranet. Assisting with maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where available. Demonstrating expertise in setting up all types of client accounts and services; reviewing documentation for completeness and following through to avoid documentation deficiencies related to deposit accounts. Maintaining strong knowledge of mandatory policies and procedures, addressing activity requirements promptly, adhering strictly to Mandatory Mandating Mandates and the mandate mandating mandatory Mandates, and escalating any issues or concerns to management. Serving as a mentor to fellow Personal Bankers, providing guidance, encouragement, and direction as needed. Knowledge Knowledge of banking operations, products and services acquired through related work experience is preferred. Knowledge of federal regulations and banking guidelines, usually acquired through related work experience or formal training. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills are required to identify, research, and/or resolve requests, manage conflicting priorities and workflows, think critically, work independently and as part of a team, and communicate strongly, verbally and in writing.
