UPLIFT HOMECARE, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing home health team serving Odessa and surrounding areas.

This part-time opportunity allows you to provide one-on-one patient care in the comfort of patients' homes while working alongside a supportive clinical team dedicated to promoting independence, mobility, and quality of life.

Compensation: Up to $60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic exercises, treatments, and interventions under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and changes in condition.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining individualized treatment plans.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and treatment goals.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of physical therapy practices and standards.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Ability to travel to patient homes throughout Odessa and surrounding areas

Work Environment

This position requires travel to patients' homes and the ability to work independently in a variety of home environments. Candidates must be able to safely perform patient care duties while maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability.
