EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Abernathy, Texas. Hours : Monday to Saturday, 6:30am to 5:00pm. Times and days are subject to change based on client needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring. Work closely with outside medical providers. Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols. Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using state‑of‑the-art EMR and other tools. Physical Assessment Testing (PATs). Case management. Medical charting. OSHA record‑keeping. Required Skills & Qualifications Valid licensure for the position. Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive and outgoing personality. Willingness to go above and beyond. Passion for people and delivering quality care. Preferred Skills Comfortable working in a construction environment. Familiarity with EMR software. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
