Upcoming graduates are welcome to apply! The BCH Rehab department is looking for a speech-language pathologist to join our team! We are a collaborative group of physical occupational and speech therapists who seek to provide excellent and compassionate patient care.

In addition to being a great team member with a patient first approach the ideal candidate will evaluate and provide evidence-based treatment for speech language voice cognition and swallowing in a critical access hospital setting that includes inpatient and outpatient populations. This position will cover a variety of inpatient and outpatient services of all ages.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Select administer and interpret appropriate evaluation tools for patients.
• Synthesize patient provided information with clinical data to make appropriate diagnosis and establish treatment plans.
• Document clinical data observations progress and response to therapeutic interventions in evaluation treatment and discharge notes to support plan of care billing and other recommendations.
• Modify treatment interventions to accommodate age skill and level of patient needs.
• Provide education and counseling to patients/caregivers within the scope of speech language pathology to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Nebraska Speech-Language Pathology license (or temporary license)
• ASHA Certification (CCC or CF)
• CPR Certification
• Valid Drivers License

Shift Schedule: On-call as needed Monday-Friday daytime hours
