Production Associate

We are looking for an energetic, fast-paced, hardworking, and reliable employee to join our 2nd shift team! Ornua Ingredients offers competitive starting wages along with an excellent benefits package. Wage: $20.50 + 15% shift differential, opportunity to increase with additional training + 8% quarterly bonus opportunity Schedule: Monday - Thursday, Friday overtime as necessary Duties include but not limited to: Open barrels, block, or bags of cheese and other ingredients Weigh the ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheets Use knives and wires to cut and trim the ingredients to the correct weights Transfer ingredients from the scale to the pick up tables Heavy lifting and the ability to load cheese into grinders is required Palletize finished product at the end of the packaging line Any other duties as requested or assigned Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required Solid work history is a must Prior food manufacturing experience preferred but not required Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time- (10 hour days) Ability work with hands and to lift up to 50lbs repetitively Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices a plus Basic math skills Benefits: Benefits starting day one Health, vision, and dental insurance (with 4 different plans to choose from) Quarterly bonus Paid Breaks (Production roles for full 40-hour week) 80 hrs of PTO (incremented over time) 401k with up to 4% company match Employee Assist Program Refer a Friend bonus Various company events Paid parental leave Education and training opportunities Tuition Reimbursement program Short-term and long-term disability – paid by the company Basic Life Insurance – paid by the company 9 paid holidays
