We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant Managers and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the South Plainfield, NJ area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. They enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians work, manage outside orders, and ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations and keeping team members safe. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive sales initiatives. They communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information and ensure satisfaction with the in‑store experience. The goal is to meet customer expectations. Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or a combination of education, training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
