Key Responsibilities Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients to foster an open therapeutic dialogue. Diagnose mental health conditions using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment. Conduct regular counseling sessions, including individual therapy and couples sessions, to facilitate personal growth and relationship improvement. Evaluate clients' progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary, making referrals to specialists to provide comprehensive care where appropriate. Document all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic health record system while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your role is crucial in guiding clients toward healthier coping mechanisms and improved mental well-being, empowering them with the skills needed to manage their mental health challenges effectively. Qualifications A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Proven therapeutic skills and familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Strong ethical standards and professionalism in patient interactions and documentation. Preferred Experience Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling. Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling settings. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
