You are the connective tissue between Life is Good and our licensing partners. WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE DONE

You have 2‑3 years of experience in brand licensing — including licensed‑in property management and licensed‑out partner management You have worked with consumer products, with exposure to the apparel industry You have managed product approval workflows using licensing software You have worked with PLM systems for item setup and costing You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable with project management tools You have worked with Adobe Illustrator and can handle and edit artwork files You have experience preparing presentations and presenting to varied audiences You have successfully integrated AI into your daily workflows

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Own Your Partner Relationships You serve as the primary contact for 6–8 Life is Good licensees — you know their business deeply and work alongside them to ensure they have everything needed to meet and exceed revenue goals You are the lead team member and primary point of contact for all properties Life is Good licenses in — including partnerships like Dr. Seuss, Rudolph, NASA, and Airstream You manage incoming product samples from all licensing partners, maintaining an organized sample inventory in the Boston office and ensuring samples are available for internal reviews and photography You track sales and royalties across your licensed product portfolio and maintain accurate executive reports, working with partners on rolling forecasts that reflect financial results in real time Drive Cross‑Functional Coordination You work across Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Wholesale, and eCommerce to provide partners with the right support at the right time You develop and maintain detailed product launch calendars for inbound licensing collections, facilitating internal meetings across all teams to keep communication clear and deadlines on track You lead the process of purchasing licensed products for resale through Life is Good selling channels when applicable You partner with Marketing to keep sell‑in materials — Brand Decks, Brand Videos, and related assets — optimized and current Manage Assets and Information You organize and maintain all partnership assets, creative files, contracts, and approvals so the right information is always accessible and accurate You track eCommerce sales and wholesale bookings of licensed product and maintain executive reports, ensuring your partners have appropriate access to best‑selling graphics when relevant You develop and oversee a quarterly Licensee Newsletter that keeps all partners connected to each other’s successes and challenges at retail You build and deliver presentations for key moments — including Sales Meetings and Quarterly Family Meetings — that are clear, compelling, and on brand How you show up You build relationships that last — partners and internal teams trust you because you follow through and show up the same way every time You move through ambiguity without losing momentum — when the path isn’t clear, you identify what needs to happen and get it moving You communicate with clarity and intention — your written and verbal communication makes the important thing land, whether you’re in a one‑on‑one or presenting to a room You take ownership and run with it — you understand the direction, build the plan, and execute without needing to be managed You keep multiple complex workstreams moving simultaneously — nothing falls through the cracks and no one has to chase you You give and receive feedback openly and constructively — you make the work better and you make the people around you better You bring the Life is Good mission into how you operate — your optimism is genuine, consistent, and contagious You use AI to work through complexity faster — drafting partner communications, organizing data, and building out plans without getting slowed down by the mechanical parts You leverage AI to keep your reporting and tracking sharp, turning raw numbers into clear, actionable insights for partners and leadership You stay curious about emerging tools, experiment with what’s useful, and share what’s working with the team When you know you’re successful Your licensees are growing — the partners you manage are meeting or exceeding their goals, and they credit the partnership as a meaningful part of why Your internal partners — in Finance, Legal, Marketing, and beyond — rely on you as their go‑to for accurate, timely information about licensed products Your portfolio is performing — the overall licensed product business is on track, and your contributions are a clear part of that result Your partners feel genuinely connected to Life is Good — not just contractually, but as part of the community we’re building You are the person people come to when they need something done right — because you consistently deliver and you do it with a positive outlook Benefits We are located in the innovative and thriving Fort Point neighborhood.
