Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Emergency Medicine

Description This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Conduct thorough medical evaluations and diagnose conditions Develop and implement treatment plans Collaborate with staff and other healthcare professionals Supervise and mentor junior medical staff Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations Educate patients and families on health management Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state Experience in emergency medicine preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours and shifts Level III Trauma Center Schedule: 6a-2a, 2p-10pm, or 10p-6a Daily Volume: ~160 patients Annual Volume: 65k+ patients Will not handle codes, airways, etc. Support Staff: APPs EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & lodging #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
