Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (Illinois)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students who have special needs preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching diverse learners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

• Provide direct support and differentiated instruction in both individual and small group settings
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in school meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development
