Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical – North Dakota

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating day/night schedule; every other weekend and every other holiday required. Flexible scheduling available including straight weekend options.

Highlights:

• 32-bed medical-surgical unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 4-5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights
• EPIC EMR system with modern equipment including Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps
• Opportunity to work across multiple medical centers within the regional healthcare system
• Neuro patient experience preferred; strong focus on comprehensive med-surg skills
• Rotating schedule balanced to minimize frequent day-to-night transitions

Requirements:

• Active North Dakota or Compact State RN License required
• Minimum 1-2 years recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200-250+ beds)
• Previous travel nursing experience with successful completion of assignments
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS Certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to all units and locations as needed
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have a separation date at least 6 months prior to submission
