Nurse Manager - Progress Care

Position Nurse Manager - Progress Care – MED#416 Location Napa, California (Relocation Expense Provided) Salary $167K to $265K – Based on Experience Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision Life insurance and disability insurance Retirement 401(k) Savings Plan with employer matching Paid parental leave, vacations, holidays, and health‑related time off Voluntary benefits and well‑being resources Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and management of the nursing department in Progressive Care Maintain 24‑hour accountability for nursing operations and patient care excellence Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and high performance Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation Coordinate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional patient outcomes Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects Ensure adherence to patient safety practices and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Nursing Administration, or related healthcare field Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience Demonstrated knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements Proven ability to lead clinical teams in a fast‑paced acute care environment Must be a U.S. Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership, supervisory, or nurse management experience Experience within Progressive Care, Step‑Down, Telemetry, or Acute Care settings Experience with performance improvement initiatives and staff development Knowledge of Joint Commission, State, and Federal healthcare regulations Skills & Abilities Strong clinical leadership and decision‑making capabilities Ability to mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff Effective conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities Skilled in interdisciplinary collaboration and patient‑centered care delivery Commitment to quality improvement and evidence‑based nursing practice Ability to thrive in a collaborative and mission‑driven healthcare environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
