About the Role The Mortgage Funding Specialist plays an important part in our Mortgage Operations team and helps ensure a smooth and accurate funding process for every loan. In this role, you’ll review closed loan packages, verify all funding conditions, and coordinate wire disbursements with precision. Your expertise helps deliver an exceptional closing experience for our clients and partners. What You’ll Do Review closed loan packages to confirm all funding conditions are satisfied Verify the accuracy of the final Closing Disclosure and supporting documents Confirm all required signatures and approvals are complete prior to funding Balance the Lender Wire and authorize wire disbursements to title or escrow companies Coordinate with settlement agents, processors, and Loan Officers to ensure timely fundingMaintain accurate records of disbursements and loan statuses within the LOS (ARIVE) Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve any funding issues Audit funded files for completeness and compliance before transferring to post-closing Ensure all activities follow TRID requirements, investor guidelines, and company policies What You Bring Minimum 4 years of experience in mortgage funding or closing Strong understanding of TRID, CD balancing, and wire disbursement procedures Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Experience with ARIVE LOS or similar systems preferred Knowledge of correspondent or non‑delegated loans is a plus Reliable, self‑motivated, and committed to accuracy and deadlines Why You’ll Love Working Here A fun, supportive team that believes in collaboration and celebrating wins Leadership that values your voice, ideas, and career growth Opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact as Barrett continues to expand A culture that balances professionalism with personality where we work hard and have fun doing it Ready to Join Us?
